Linux data recovery takes special skills. The EXT file system is very different form NTFS or FAT. At DTI DATA NZ we have trained Linux engineers that know how to extract data from the various Operating Systems based on the Linux Kernel.
Fill out a request form and include it in your package.
If at all possible, remove the media from the computer. Get expert help if necessary. Send us just the hard drive(s), tape(s), floppy, jaz, zip, optical, flashcard, microdrive etc..

DTI DATA performs all data recovery in its very own onsite Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom.
What is a cleanroom? A clean room is a work area in which the humidity, temperature, and air quality are highly regulated so that sensitive equipment is protected from contamination. The air in a clean room is repeatedly filtered in order to limit the entry of dust particles and other impurities than can damage hard drives and other data storage media. Federal Standard 209 sets for the standards for measuring clean room air quality. Specifically, a Class 100 clean room rating means that no more than 100 particles larger than 0.5 microns are present in any given cubic foot of air. Hard drive fabrication and repair requires a Class 100 clean room.
